TC Electronic DBMaxTC Electronic Broadcast DBMax DBMax is a powerful dedicated dynamics tool for broadcast and post production, equipped with the renowned TC multi band dynamics processor, plus EQ, limiter, oscillator and metering for levels, multi band gain reduction, phase over time, and matrix surround levels. The DBMax sets itself apart from other multiband dynamics processors by the inclusion of nominal and maximum reference levels to which the dynamics threshold settings are linked, speeding set up in a broadcast installation or allowing easy switching between different delivery specifications within a production or post facility. The DBMax is therefore equally effective when used as a transparent protection against breaching audio level "guide lines" in post, outside boadcast or the sound gallery; assisting in creating the right sound "style" for the type of production or delivery format; or creating an audio signature for a tightly focussed radio station.
